Sol, Lua e Ascendente
O Sol é o centro: identidade e vontade.
Perguntas frequentes
What a birth chart is
The birth chart (or natal chart) is a snapshot of the sky at the minute and place you were born. It shows where the Sun, Moon and planets were, in which signs and which of the twelve houses, and the angles between them. Astrology reads that picture as a portrait of how you feel, think, love and act.
Sun, Moon and Ascendant
The Sun is the core: identity and will. The Moon is the emotional world, what you need to feel safe. The Ascendant is how you meet others and the first impression you leave. They are the three most visible points, but the chart holds much more: Mercury (how you think), Venus (affection), Mars (desire and initiative), Jupiter, Saturn and the slow planets.
Why the time matters
The sky turns a full circle every day, so the Ascendant and houses change every few minutes. Without a birth time the planets in signs are still right (only the Moon may be a few degrees off), but houses and the Ascendant are left out.
How we calculate
Arkanova uses the same astronomy engine as B2inUs and The Orrery Index: positions from the real orbits, Placidus houses, tropical zodiac, mean Node and Lilith, and the historical time zone of the birth place.
